This week, Julian is in session on the Old Grey Whistle Test on Radio 2 [December 7th at 10pm] alongside Paul Weller and Robert Plant - the original show ran from 1971 to 1987 on BBC2, and has been revived for its 40th anniversary and is now broadcast on Radio 2. For more info, visit the Old Grey Whistle Test 40 website:
Julian performed at the Prince’s Trust Rock Gala 2011 at the Royal Albert Hall, London UK on Wednesday 23 November and closed the first half of the show in style with a classic performance of Stand By Me, preceded by an equally absorbing version of Saltwater. Julian re-joined the stage alongside The Feeling, Pete Townsend, Joss Stone, Tim Minchin and Boy George for the finale, which was a rousing rendition of the David Bowie classic, Heroes.
See below for pictures, reviews and interviews from the night.
